"Crocus" Painting #12

"Crocus"
2011© Gretchen Bjornson

Crocus are said to symbolize cheerfulness and gladness.  Being one of the first flowers to push through the dirt (and sometimes snow) at the onset of spring, I know I will be cheerful and glad that winter is coming to an end.

So here is another painting to get you in the mood for the upcoming spring season!

  1. I am looking forward to the bulbs coming through this spring, it won't be long, I saw the Burpee seed stand hiding behind the Valentines cards at the grocery store, Spring can't be far behind!
This painting is wonderful and we are nearing the half way mark.....
